Bishopโs Stortford-based tech company, ITVET, wrap up their annual 12 Days of Giving initiative. Throughout December itโs been giving back to the local community with donations, volunteering, and fundraising.
Hereโs what the company has been up to:
- Provided home baking to Hertfordshire Mind Network for people to tuck into during one of their sessions.
- Donated pet food and goodies for the staff at the Animal Rescue Centre.
- Donated Christmas treats to NHS staff at Herts & Essex Hospital.
- Volunteered to help Bishop’s Stortford Round Table Santa Sleigh raise money for Grove Cottage.
- Donated 40 new skipping ropes for Manuden Primary School’s PE department.
- Donated Christmas presents to children fleeing violence through an appeal with social services.
- Delivered food parcels to families in need on behalf of Bishop’s Stortford Food Bank.
- Dropped off grocery packages to local families on behalf of the Salvation Army.
- Donated craft items to the Thirst Youth Cafรฉ.
- Provided entertainment for The New Apton Centre’s Age Concern Christmas Party.
- Ordered items from St Clare Hospiceโs Amazon wish list.
- Volunteered for TouchPoint, Stanstedโs community share project, helping to organise donated food ready for people in need to collect.
