Nov 2025 โ€ข 5 min read

Our teammate spotlight series introduces the people who bring energy, expertise, and innovation to ITVET. In this edition, we speak with Senior Mobilisation Manager, Alex Stickland, to learn more about her journey, passion for working closely with new clients, and what inspires her in her new role.

Alex has been at ITVET for seven years, working across the Service Desk, Projects, and Mobilisations teams. With this breadth of experience, she has built a strong understanding of what clients need during those crucial early stages of partnership. Her focus on smooth onboarding and meaningful relationships makes her a key part of our mobilisation success.

Tell us about your role as Senior Mobilisation Manager

Our team is a fairly new specialist arm of the Projects team. As a mobilisation manager, I specialise in projects that onboard new clients onto support. This often involves delivering new services and transferring their existing services from a previous IT provider.

Can you tell us about your journey in mobilisations and what led you to this role?

I feel like part of the furniture at ITVET. I started on the Service Desk and eventually took over arranging proactive visits for the service engineers. When a space opened on the Projects team for a coordinator, it felt like a natural next step. Since then, Iโ€™ve progressed through the roles of Project Manager, Mobilisation Manager, and now Senior Mobilisation Manager. What drew me to Mobilisations is the dedicated time you spend with each client as they join our support. The relationships you build are invaluable. Itโ€™s not always easy, but itโ€™s definitely rewarding.

What do you love most about working at ITVET?

Thereโ€™s a lot of variety and flexibility. Having been here for a while, itโ€™s been great to see the company grow. The management team genuinely cares about each employeeโ€™s progression and is committed to helping us develop.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Iโ€™m a big nerd. I spend most of my free time reading, playing video games, or enjoying board games and Tabletop Role-Playing Games (TTRPGs).

Do you have any advice for someone considering a role at ITVET?
