Initial steps

  • Obtain high-level details of assets and handover information.

  • ​Conduct a preliminary meeting with key personnel to understand the expectations of the audit and mobilisation requirements.

  • ​Arrange ‘in-person’ audit to capture finer details of requirements.

  • ​Liaise with all third-party providers to ensure a smooth handover.​

  • Obtain key contacts including any third-party systems, corporate IT access etc.​​ ​​

  • Identify and gather vital information including site photos, network, and cab diagrams.

  • Drill down on key services, such as backup, network security, and anti-virus.

  • A thorough audit of all hardware across the business.

  • Capture detailed records including make/model, asset tags, location, and support.​

  • Review services and business critical apps including email, broadband, and VPN. ​

Post audit & transition

  • Post audit meeting to confirm access to all systems, the install plan, and onboarding checklist are complete.​

  • Complete post audit onboarding meeting to flag any recommendations.​

  • Confirm the priorities and possible impacts of system migrations and prepare for any transitional actions.

  • ​Send welcome pack to key members of the site team and conduct training on our dashboard.

  • Produce full project plan to ensure smooth transition of services.​

  • ​Clear handover to service desk ahead of go live date to ensure full levels of service.​

  • Create and supply any support documentation, such as network diagrams.​​
